Nigerian universities rake in billions of Naira from post UTME

Gistmaster gathered that at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU),Ile Ife alone, no fewer than 27000 admission seekers wrote the post UTME. Each candidates paid N7,700 as exam fees. OAU sold scratch cards through banks. OAU alone got about N200 million from the deal.

At the University of Lagos, about 32000 reportedly sat for the post UTME. Most of them paid thousands of Naira too aside their transportation and accommodation expenses from different parts of Nigeria.This is the same applies to other universities,polytechnics and colleges of education across the country.
