Uniport promising successful West African University Games

University of Port Harcourt finally kicks off preparations for the West African University Games  (WAUG) in Rivers State,  which will commence from the 22nd of November till 4th of December 2016.
The Number one citizen of the University The vice Chancellor, Prof Ndowa Lale called out for sponsors and the government to assist them in achieving their goals after setting a high standard of sporting facilities in the institution lately, which cost a lot of money….
He said ‘’ the new myrtha swimming pool was firstly built by them in the whole West Africa ’’
He further talked about their African wide achievements like the only host of the recent IAAF/CAC competition.
Preparations in the university seems very serious and the participants are at the top of their games.
